Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Digital Season opener streams live from Music Hall Sunday September 26 at 8 p.m. ET. The concert will feature “Banner” by composer and violinist Jessie Montgomery, Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville”, and Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring”. Featured performers in the program include soprano Angel Blue, and the Catalyst Quartet, of which Montgomery is violinist.

The free concert will be live streamed on the orchestra’s website. Free socially distanced outdoor “watch parties” will take place at Washington Park & Fountain Square in Cincinnati on a large screen. Viewers may also stream the concerts via the CSO’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.

The orchestra’s 2020 fall line-up will also include works by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Astor Piazzolla, and Anthony Davis, whose 2007 work “You Have the Right to Remain Silent” will be performed by NY Phil clarinetist Anthony McGill on Nov. 21. All concerts are FREE.
